On Thursday, June 13th, 2024, I got up at 7:10 a.m. PST and left my house at 7:40 a.m. to go to my language school.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During break time, I took a walk along the harbor near the Vancouver Convention Centre. A bunch of gulls were hanging out on the shore.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Identifying the species of gulls could be easy for people with keen eyes, but it is difficult for me, as their bodies change depending on seasons and age. One of the gulls that I watched today might be the Glaucous-winged<\/span> Gull.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Other than the gulls, I was impressed by a seal swimming in the harbor. The mammal raised its belly above the water and soon disappeared below the sea. Its behavior reminded me of the sea turtles that I saw on Yakushima Island, Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
