On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, I got up at 10:30 a.m. PST and left my house at 3:00 p.m. to head to Burnaby, a city next to Vancouver. I privately previewed a house in Burnaby, but didn\u2019t care for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After previewing the house, I visited Burnaby Lake. Before walking around the lake, I had imagined a pathway close to the water, but Burnaby Lake was different from what I had expected. There were large forests between the lake and the pathway, so I could only see the water at certain points.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Several kinds of birds were singing in the park. In fact, I encountered many species that I had never seen before, such as Song Sparrows, Red-winged Blackbirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds, and possibly a Wood Duck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most surprising things was the huge difference between male and female Red-winged Blackbirds. While the male is identified by its black body and orange wings, the female is mostly brown.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
