On Thursday, July 4th, 2024, I got up at 7:00 a.m. PST and left my house at 7:50 a.m. to go to my language school today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After classes, my friend and I visited Queen Elizabeth Park, where I had also been one day earlier, to play pitch and putt, which is a short golf course. The park offers pitch and putt at an affordable price; I paid $26.84 CAD, including a rental fee for a ball and a club.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was so terrible at approaching shots that my score was 98, which means 44 more than the par score of 54. However, this experience was extremely fun, as the nature, such as grass and trees on the course, was beautiful. My friend also came to like to play in a short course, so he said that he wants to play again at another park, such as Stanley Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

One surprising thing for me was how many players there were. We had to wait to hit the ball at each hole for a certain amount of time because many people, including the younger generation, were playing earlier than us, even though it was a weekday.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
