On Monday, July 8th, 2024, I got up at 4:30 a.m. PST and left my house at 7:30 a.m. to go to my language school.<\/span><\/p>\n

After classes, I walked around David Lam Park, a park located in downtown Vancouver. In the park, there were people relaxing on the lawn, children selling beverages, and cyclists riding along the shore.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A white flower, maybe an Oyama Magnolia, blooming in the park caught my eye. It was natural for me to be curious about it, as I have been familiar with the magnolia family since I stayed in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n
