On Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, I got up at 7:10 a.m. PST and left my house at 8:00 a.m. to go to my language school.<\/span><\/p>\n

After classes, I visited Mountain View Cemetery for a walk. According to the city of Vancouver’s website, it is made up of 106 acres of land, which is much larger than Aoyama Cemetery, a famous cemetery in Tokyo, Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

While a typical Japanese cemetery is full of graves like a Japanese train during rush hour, there were many open spaces in Mountain View Cemetery. I also noticed that each grave was smaller than those in Japan. Due to these differences, I didn\u2019t feel the scary atmosphere like that in Japanese cemeteries.<\/span><\/p>\n
