It was colder than usual in my room, so I turned on the heater, which was the first time I had used it since I had moved to this house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I mentioned in my blog yesterday, I\u2019m encountering a problem where bugs, possibly ants, appear during the night in the kitchen. My host mother and I cleaned the area to prevent them from coming in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even though we had made efforts the day before, the same bugs appeared early morning, probably because they were looking for food and found a cake that my host mother had made yesterday and left in the kitchen. About 10 insects walked around the cake, and some of them were on it. We should have put it in the fridge so that insects couldn\u2019t detect something sweet in the kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I observed this afternoon, some insects were still around the cake. When I told this to my host mother, she threw away the cake without hesitation.
