On Thursday, October 31st, 2024, I got up at 6:30 a.m. and left home in the morning for college.<\/span><\/p>\n

My friend and I delivered our presentation today, concluding the group project we had been working on.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As mentioned in my previous blog, we analyzed data from a fictional company selling bikes and other items. Our goal was to find insights based on three years of sales data and suggest strategies to improve business performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All groups in our class presented to our classmates and teacher. Interestingly, each presentation offered different insights, despite analyzing the same dataset.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One group highlighted how the holiday season impacted revenue growth. The teacher agreed with their analysis, noting Christmas season’s contribution to revenue. However, I found their conclusion questionable, as I couldn’t rationalize why people would be more inclined to purchase bikes during the Christmas season.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Does the data support their interpretation or mine? I believe the data aligns with my perspective. While B2B revenue increased in December, B2C revenue remained relatively stable compared to other months. If Christmas truly had a positive impact on sales, both revenue streams should have shown significant increases.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, due to limited question time, I couldn’t discuss this point with the group that focused on the Christmas season-revenue correlation. Moreover, none of my classmates actively engaged with questions during any presentation, which was the most disappointing aspect of today’s class.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
