Compared to standard rice cookers in Japan, the one I use here is simpler, having only a single button to start cooking, without any timer function.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rather than complaining about its limited features, I&#8217;m grateful to my host mother. At my previous residence, there was no rice cooking equipment, which meant I generally couldn&#8217;t prepare rice dishes myself.
