On Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, I got up around 4:00 a.m. PST and left for college in the morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

After school, I took a walk in Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. There, I saw a small bird perched on moss growing on a tree. It might have been a Black-capped Chickadee.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The European Linden tree in the park had brown fruits that conveyed a sense of winter. A pair of these fruits hung together, resembling cherries.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I also noticed another type of tree with beautiful red fruits. It somehow reminded me of Japanese aesthetics. Based on my research, this tree might be Japanese Skimmia, a plant whose flowers I had previously seen on Yakushima Island.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
