On Monday, December 23rd, 2024, I got up around 11:30 a.m. PST and left home in the afternoon for downtown Vancouver.<\/span><\/p>\n

After meeting my Colombian friend there, I visited the Robson Square Ice Rink with her. It was my first time ice skating in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n

The small rink was crowded, which reminded me of the skating rink in front of Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in Japan. The crowd was understandable, given that skating was free and skate rental cost only 5 Canadian dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although I had expected to skate well based on my experience last winter in Nagano, Japan, I didn’t perform as well as I had anticipated. My friend turned out to be more skilled than I was.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
