On Thursday, December 19th, 2024, I got up around 6:30 a.m. PST and left home in the morning for college.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was the final day of my class at college. Every group in the class made a presentation about the data they had analyzed. The teacher prepared two types of data: one about e-commerce and the other about human resources. Each group selected one of them and analyzed it using the skills we had learned, such as Python and Power BI.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All groups except ours chose the human resources data, probably because the teacher had mentioned that it was easier than the other one. Since I tend to go against the norm, I chose the harder project.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just like in the previous presentation, it was disappointing that nobody asked questions after each group finished explaining their results. Furthermore, some groups failed to prepare materials that could facilitate discussion, which showed that they hadn\u2019t fully absorbed the knowledge and skills taught throughout the course.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing that impressed me was that some students asked questions about our presentation. Our group members and those students discussed the meaning of our results, which was exactly what I had hoped for.<\/span><\/p>\n

After all the groups had finished their presentations, the school staff gave an explanation about job opportunities for students. After completing the academic program, students will be able to start full-time jobs. The staff talked about regulations regarding the types of jobs students can do.<\/span><\/p>\n

This explanation didn\u2019t matter to me because I had already given up on job hunting. However, it was important for students who were still searching for jobs. Some students from Brazil expressed frustration about how difficult it was for them to find employment. Listening to their concerns, I realized that most students were more focused on job hunting than on learning at college.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
