On Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, I got up at noon PST and left home in the afternoon for a walk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking a train and a bus, then walking for about 30 minutes, I visited Belcarra Regional Park, which is located outside the urban areas of Metro Vancouver.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is a trail along Sasamat Lake, which is about half the size of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. From the east side of the trail, I enjoyed a scenic view of the lake, forest, and mountains. Since the water’s surface was calm, it beautifully reflected the blue sky and green coniferous trees.<\/span><\/p>\n

While walking along the trail, I didn\u2019t come across any flowers or fruits that caught my eye, but the moss covering the trees and ground was stunning, reminding me of the forests on Yakushima Island.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
