On Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, I got up around 8:00 a.m. and left my hotel in Osaka City. That morning, I walked around areas near Osaka Station that had been recently developed. Osaka Station is one of the biggest transportation hubs in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of the places I visited was a district called Umekita, located just north of the station. Although the entire development has not yet been completed, a park and several buildings have recently opened. The park, in particular, has attracted attention because it is rare to see one occupying such a large area within a major development site.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From what I saw, the park itself isn’t very large, but I found it unique and pleasant. What made it feel special, I think, was the surrounding infrastructure: a long outdoor corridor, a silver-colored dome, and low-rise buildings with restaurants.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I found a good spot to view the park: a terrace at the Grand Front Osaka. It\u2019s free to enter and stay there.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South also offers a terrace where visitors can look out over the lively district in front of Osaka Station. From there, you can see the trains arriving and departing, as well as people walking across the pedestrian bridge. Even though I\u2019m not familiar with all the buildings in this massive city, the views from these high-rise buildings helped me get a better sense of Osaka.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
