On Monday, April 7th, 2025, I got up at 7:30 a.m. and left my home, taking the Shinkansen from Shin-Yokohama Station to Kyoto Prefecture. I visited an old building in a small town in the prefecture with a friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

After seeing it, the two of us took a train to Kyoto City and walked around the central area, including the Kyoto Imperial Palace and the Kyoto Prefectural Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I had heard, some places in the city, such as Kyoto Station and the Pontocho district, were crowded with foreign tourists. However, the banks of the Kamogawa River remained peaceful\u2014almost like heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

After parting ways with my friend, I headed to Osaka Station, as I would be traveling on my own from there.
