Since they were leaving the next day, they wanted to shoot arrows at the Meiji Jingu dojo\u2014one of the most iconic places for Japanese archery. Another Japanese friend and I were happy to help them out today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After having lunch in a park within Meiji Jingu, we visited the dojo in the afternoon and practiced until evening. The building where the archers stood was spacious and clean, and the field where the arrows flew was covered with green grass and pink flowers. The surroundings made the practice really pleasant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The other people at the dojo were kind, and both the rules and staff struck a good balance\u2014not too strict, not too lax. Everything about the experience felt just right to me.
