On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, I got up at 6:30 a.m. and left home at 7:30 a.m. to watch a half-marathon event in Azumino City.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to the event\u2019s website, the participants started running at 8:30 a.m. from a park in the city. I went to a relatively tall building in the area at 9:00 a.m. and watched them running through the agricultural landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After all the runners had passed, I walked on part of the course. The route probably offered a refreshing experience for the runners, as it was surrounded by paddy fields filled with water and golden wheat fields. If the Northern Japanese Alps had not been partly covered by clouds, the participants would have enjoyed the scenery even more.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I visited a local public bath around noon, I saw many people wearing shirts that seemed to have been given to the half-marathon participants. They didn\u2019t look very exhausted, even after running about 20 kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
