On Saturday, May 31st, 2025, I got up at 9:00 a.m. and left home with my father around 10:30 a.m. to explore Azumino, Nagano.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of the places we visited was Alps Azumino National Government Park. This paid park has a total area of 353 hectares, which is about 50 hectares smaller than Stanley Park in Vancouver.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Even though it was a Saturday, the park wasn\u2019t very crowded, and it was comfortable to explore. I found several things interesting, such as a disc golf course, a river running through the park, and an area where koinobori<\/em>\u2014carp-shaped streamers\u2014were on display.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The park is located on the outskirts of Azumino and offers a majestic view. From there, you can see rice paddies, houses with traditional exteriors, and clusters of conifer trees scattered throughout the town.
