On Friday, June 20th, 2025, I got up at noon and left home in the evening to walk along a narrow path by the Irie River in Yokohama.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The path stretches for about 1 km and is well worth walking. The river\u2019s water is clear and provides a habitat for fish. A Little Egret was there, probably looking to catch some.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Various plants grow alongside the path. Today, rose of Sharon was in full bloom.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to Yokohama City\u2019s website, treated wastewater is released into the creek to contribute to its water volume and quality, as the river used to be polluted and spring water decreased.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
