There was a festival in Vancouver that my host mother had suggested I visit, but I didn\u2019t go because I wanted to rest at home. She got a bottle of maple syrup as a prize for winning a game that was part of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before she went there, she told me that a delivery notice for me had arrived at our house, so I went to the post office located inside a pharmacy in my neighborhood and picked up a box filled with my belongings that my parents had sent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was surprised at how quickly the luggage had been delivered from Japan, since my parents had sent it on Tuesday this week, Japan time. It weighed 5.8 kg and cost about 15,000 yen to ship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What I don\u2019t understand about the delivery system in Canada is whether I can receive this type of box at home. I was at home most of the time both yesterday and today, so it should have been possible for me to receive the box at home.
