On Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, I got up around 7:00 a.m. PDT and joined volunteer work in a park to remove invasive plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After finishing the work, I explored the heart of Vancouver with a volunteer member from Germany. We had lunch at a restaurant where she tried Chinese cuisine for the first time, walked along False Creek, went shopping on Granville Island, and relaxed on a beach to watch the sunset.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We ended up walking for about four hours in the afternoon, even though we had already worked in the park that morning. To be honest, I was tired by the end of the walk, but she still looked fine and said she would get up early the next morning to go hiking. Although I\u2019m confident about walking long distances, she seems to have more energy than I do.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to her, German people tend to wear hiking shoes even when walking around town. I hope to visit her home country someday to see for myself whether what she said is true.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
