On Friday, September 26th, 2025, I got up around 7:30 a.m. PDT and joined volunteer work in a park this morning, as I usually do on Fridays.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hardly slept at all last night\u2014probably less than an hour. Not only today but also every time before going to volunteer work, I can\u2019t sleep well for some reason.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since I got hungry around 2 or 3 a.m., I quickly made some ramen I had bought at MUJI in Japan. It was very easy to cook because all I had to do was pour boiling water over the dried noodle block. At that time, one of my housemates was also still awake and made a piece of toast.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m almost out of that ramen at home, so I bought an alternative at a local supermarket. It was a dried seasoning powder made by a well-known Japanese company. If I get hungry again at midnight, I\u2019ll make a Japanese-style soup with mochi using it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
