On Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, I got up around noon PST and stayed home all day.<\/span><\/p>\n

At home, I watched an international curling match between a team from Sweden and one from South Korea, using a sports network\u2019s streaming service. Since this year\u2019s baseball season is over, the only sports I enjoy watching now are ice hockey and curling.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Although I have been a fan of curling, actually playing it has given me a new perspective on watching the sport. For example, when the players faced situations in which it was difficult to decide on a tactic, they communicated far more than I do when I play. That was an insightful example for me as a beginner.<\/p>\n

It was also interesting to listen to what the commentators said on the stream, as it helped me learn English expressions related to curling. When I played the sport in Vancouver, I sometimes struggled to talk with others due to a lack of English skills, including vocabulary.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
