Like when I went to Minoru Arenas last Thursday, I wanted to experience other ice rinks in Metro Vancouver. It meant that today was my first time visiting this facility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rental skates I got there were disappointing. The blade on the left skate didn\u2019t feel sharp, so I asked a staff member to exchange them for another pair. Even after I started using the new ones, I still felt uncomfortable with the <\/span>left blade, especially when doing slalom. Although I tried to ask for another exchange, they refused.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These experiences taught me two things. The first lesson is that the ice skating facility I usually go to \u2014 the Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre \u2014 provides high-quality rental skates.
