After renting all the ski gear, I had a one-on-one lesson for an hour and then skied on my own for another half hour.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The elderly male instructor taught me fundamental knowledge and skills, including how to ski downhill and make turns in a snowplough position, which I nearly got the hang of today.
