Although it\u2019s normal to see some passengers doing that, what I experienced today felt a bit more extreme than usual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All of them were speaking languages that were neither English nor any Asian languages. Surprisingly, during my time on trains here, I rarely see people talking on the phone in English or French, even though they are Canada\u2019s official languages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fact that so many people make phone calls on public transit makes me think that local people don\u2019t really mind it.
