I fell twice on the ice, which hurt a part of my body around the left side of my waist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was another event related to ice skating today. In the afternoon, I finally bought my own pair of ice skates at a store. I\u2019ll write about my impressions of the skates on this blog after using them on an ice rink for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The retailer where I bought the skates was Decathlon, a company originally from France. Its store is located inside a huge mall in Metrotown. While I visited multiple retailers this month in Metro Vancouver to look for ice skates, I found Decathlon\u2019s store the most comfortable place to try skates on. Having used rental skates many times at ice rinks, I realized how important it is to make sure the skates fit me well in order to enjoy the sport comfortably.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the stores I visited for ice skating gear sells used skates at discounted prices.
