On Sunday, December 14th, 2025, I got up at 12:30 p.m. PST and practiced ice skating in the afternoon for about two and a half hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was my first time going ice skating on a Sunday in Canada, as I usually do it around noon on Tuesday or Thursday. The ice rink I visited today was more crowded than on weekdays, although another rink I had skated at in the heart of Tokyo had been much more crowded than what I experienced today.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There were more young people than usual, and their movements could be dangerous. I saw a child skating in the opposite direction of the designated flow, and a young boy suddenly cutting in front of me. They were like drivers committing traffic violations on major roads.<\/span><\/p>\n

The percentage of beginners today seemed higher than on weekdays. An area for people who could not glide smoothly was separated from the main area, so the rink remained safe overall.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
