On Monday, December 22nd, 2025, I got up around 2:00 p.m. PST and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before practice, I visited Surrey, one of the cities in Metro Vancouver, and went to a plaza near Surrey Central Station. I had heard news that a public ice rink had been installed at the plaza starting this year, which sparked my interest, so I wanted to see what it was like.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The rink was covered with a tent, so skaters could enjoy the sport even though it was rainy and windy outside when I was there. For your information, my umbrella was broken by the strong wind that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Inside the tent, the atmosphere was peaceful and vibrant not only because of the many skaters on the rink, but also because people were relaxing near it under the same tent. They were sitting comfortably around a bonfire, or playing UNO or chess, which might have been prepared by the host of the rink.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
