現地時間2024年12月7日（土）、午前11時半に起床した。15時に家を出て、弓道の練習に向かった。
テイラー・スウィフトがバンクーバーでコンサートを開催した。コンサートに向かうファンが電車内にたくさん乗っていた。彼女らはテイラー風の派手な服を着ていたため、誰がファンなのかは一目瞭然だった。ある男性は、テイラーの恋人が所属するカンザスシティ・チーフスのジャージを着ていた。
開演前のスタジアム付近も混雑していた。ただし、ダウンタウン自体は思ったほど混んでおらず、地元の人々にとっては幸いだった。
私はここ数年、テイラー・スウィフトの音楽をほとんど聴いていなかった。だが、コンサートがあることに加え、同居人が彼女のアルバムを家で流していることもあり、最近はちょっとだけ興味が出てきた。
On Saturday, December 7th, 2024, I got up around 11:30 a.m. PST and left home at 3:00 p.m. for Japanese archery practice.
A Taylor Swift concert was being held at a stadium in downtown Vancouver. While taking the train downtown, I noticed many of her fans on board. They were easily identifiable as her fans, dressed in Taylor-inspired outfits. One man was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey, the team of Taylor’s boyfriend.
Not only was the train packed, but the area around the stadium was also crowded before showtime. However, downtown Vancouver itself wasn’t as busy as expected, which was fortunate for local residents.
Although I’m not her fan, I used to listen to her music frequently. Recently, my housemate borrowed Taylor’s album and played it in our living room, which rekindled my interest in her songs.
