現地時間2024年12月17日（火）、午前7時半ごろに起きた。朝、家を出て、専門学校へ向かった。
昨日に引き続き、私たちのグループはデータ分析の課題を進めた。前日の段階でデータの整理を終えていたので、次の段階であるデータの分析と可視化に取り組んだ。
グループ内の日本出身のあるメンバーが、想像以上のペースで作業を進めている。その人は深夜にも作業をし、成果物をチャットで共有してくれる。とてもありがたい。
さらに驚くのは、彼女が学校の課題をこなすだけでなく、授業後に働いていることだ。明らかに私より忙しい。「仕事のせいで学校の課題ができなかった」と言い訳するクラスメイトが過去にいたなか、彼女の姿勢はその逆をいく。
On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, I got up around 7:30 a.m. PST and left home in the morning for college.
Following yesterday, I worked on a group project. Since we had finished cleaning the data the day before, we moved on to the next step: analyzing and visualizing it.
I was impressed by the diligence of one group member from Japan. She even worked at midnight and shared her findings with the group for discussion. Thanks to her, we made progress faster than I had expected.
What surprised me even more was that she was not only studying at college but also working after class. She must be much busier than I am. I once had a friend who made excuses that his job prevented him from doing assignments, but her attitude was the opposite.
