現地時間2025年2月4日（火）、午前7時半に起きた。午後に家を出て、コキットラムへ向かった。
もともと、リンカーン駅前の図書館で勉強するつもりで、コキットラムに来た。だが、館内は混雑しており、勉強できそうな席が見当たらなかったので、すぐに図書館を出た。午前中など、学生が来ない時間帯に行くべきだった。
家路につく前に、リンカーン駅前の大きなショッピングセンターで買い物をした。モールや図書館が近くにあるうえ、大きな公園も1km以内の場所にあり、とても便利な駅だ。
図書館について言えば、ホストマザーはサレーの図書館を勧める。広々としたスペースがあるという。写真を見ても、快適そうな印象を受ける。いつか行ってみたいが、サレーは治安の悪い都市として有名で、安全面は少し気がかりだ。
On Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, I got up at 7:30 a.m. PST and left my home in the afternoon to go to Coquitlam.
Although I intended to study at Coquitlam Public Library in front of Lincoln Station, I couldn’t because it was crowded. I should have visited before noon when there were fewer students.
After shopping at a huge shopping center near the same station, I returned home. This station is convenient since passengers can quickly access a mall and a library. Additionally, a large park with a pond is located within 1 km of the station.
Regarding libraries, my host mother recommends that I visit a library in Surrey, which has a spacious study area. From the pictures I have seen, it looks large and comfortable. Following her advice, I want to go there someday, but I am slightly concerned about the safety of the area around the library, as Surrey is well known for being a dangerous city.
