2025年5月30日（金）、午前11時に起きた。午後、安曇野市内の弓道場で練習した。
安曇野の森で、花を探した。父も一緒に見て回った。
今日見つけた植物の1つが、エゴノキだ。白い花をぽつぽつとつけていた。私の国内での経験として、3月下旬から5月上旬にエゴノキの花を目撃したことはあるが、今日のような5月末に見たことはなかった。安曇野の寒い気候が開花時期の遅さに影響しているのかもしれない。
もうひとつ、今日私の目をひいたのがギンリョウソウだ。煙管の形をしたこの植物は、葉緑体をもたないという。周りの植物はあおい葉が出すなか、真っ白い体のギンリョウソウが群れをなして生えていた。神秘的な姿だった。
On Friday, May 30th, 2025, I got up at 11:00 a.m. and left home in the afternoon to practice Japanese archery at a dojo in Nagano Prefecture.
My father and I found several kinds of flowers in a forest in Nagano Prefecture.
One of them was the white blossom of a Japanese snowbell. Although I had seen flowers of this species in Japan between late March and early May, this was the first time I had come across one at the end of May. The relatively colder climate there might explain the difference in blooming season between this area and other parts of the country.
Another plant we discovered was Ginryoso, a species that lacks chloroplasts. Surrounded by the green leaves of other plants, dozens of its white, pipe-shaped bodies clustered on the ground. Their unique color and shape were truly mystical.
