現地時間2025年10月16日（木）、午前9時ごろに起きた。昼、知人と外食をして、夕方にはカーリングの練習をした。
近所で多くの鳥に出会った。
そのほとんどはコマツグミだっただろう。オークの大木の周りを歩いていた。
ステラーカケスを目撃することもできた。私にとっては初めて見る種類の鳥だ。青みがかった体が美しい。
On Thursday, October 16th, 2025, I got up around 9:00 a.m. PDT and had lunch with my acquaintance, who had been my host mother at my previous house, at a restaurant inside a casino. In the evening, I practiced curling at a facility in Richmond.
When I was walking around my neighborhood, I came across many birds.
Most of them appeared to be American robins. They were walking on the ground around a huge oak tree.
Another type of bird I spotted today was a Steller’s jay, which is a species I had never seen before. Although it has beautiful bluish parts, it was difficult for me to see its whole body because it was hiding behind oak leaves.
