現地時間2025年12月6日（土）、午前11時に起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
練習前、フォールスクリーク沿いを散歩した。
水辺の遊歩道沿いには、イチゴノキが植わっている。小さな白い花とともに、赤や橙色の鮮やかな実をつけている。「イチゴノキ」という名前通りの果実だ。
話は変わって、サーカーについて。北米のサッカーリーグの王者決定戦「MLSカップ」がフロリダで開催された。バンクーバー・ホワイトキャップスがインテル・マイアミと対戦した。
その結果、メッシ選手の所属するインテル・マイアミが優勝。アメリカの強豪が国際的スターを擁し、カナダのチームを決勝で負ける構図は、まるで今年の野球界のようだった。
On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, I got up at 11:00 a.m. PST and went to Japanese archery practice.
Before practice, I walked around an area that’s near Yaletown and along False Creek.
What caught my eye were the shrubs planted along the waterfront path. They had tiny white flowers and striking red or orange fruits. They were strawberry trees.
By the way, the MLS Cup took place in Florida, and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC was defeated by Inter Miami CF, which has one of the most famous athletes, Lionel Messi. A Canadian sports team losing a championship to an American powerhouse with an international star reminded me of the Toronto Blue Jays losing the World Series this year.
