現地時間2025年12月8日（月）、13時に起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
帰宅後、アイスホッケーの試合を見逃し配信で観た。デトロイト・レッドウィングス対バンクーバー・カナックスの試合だ。残念ながら、カナックスは0対4で敗れた。
NHLの公式サイトによると、枠内のシュート数はカナックスが39本で、相手が21本だった。ただし、カナックスが得点に近づいたシーンは、実際にはあまり多くなかったように思う。要は、チームの攻撃があまり機能していなかった。スポーツの種類こそ違うが、得点力不足をよく指摘されていた、かつてのサッカー日本代表に似ている。
カナックスの試合での唯一の楽しみが、クイン・ヒューズ選手のプレーだ。ヒューズ選手は、チームを代表するスタープレーヤー。彼の動きは明らかに異質で、見ていて面白い。
On Monday, December 8th, 2025, I got up around 1:00 p.m. PST and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
After returning home, I watched a replay of the ice hockey game between the Detroit Red Wings and the Vancouver Canucks that was held in Canada. Unfortunately, the Canucks were defeated 0–4.
According to the official NHL website, the Canucks had 39 shots on goal, while their opponents had 21. However, I felt that the Canucks did not have many real scoring chances. In other words, they did not function well as a team to increase their chances of scoring, in my opinion. This reminds me of Japan’s national soccer team more than ten years ago, which was often criticized for lacking scoring ability.
The only thing I truly enjoy watching about the NHL team in Vancouver is the performance of Quinn Hughes, a star defenseman in the franchise. His movement is clearly different from that of ordinary players and is exciting to watch.
