現地時間2025年12月21日（日）、正午ごろに起きた。一日中家で過ごした。
自宅で、カーリングの国際大会の試合を観た。カナダのサスカトゥーンで開催されているこの大会で、「ロコ・ソラーレ」ことチーム・藤澤が決勝戦に進出した。対戦相手は、スイスのチームだ。
決勝の結果、スイスのチームが勝利した。個人的には、ロコ・ソラーレの優勝を予想していたが、そううまくはいかなかった。
とはいえ今大会において、日本勢は強い存在感を示した。準決勝に進出した4チームのうち、3つが日本のチームだった。大会の放送では、チーム・田畑の質の高いパフォーマンスや、チーム・藤澤の魅力的なキャラクターなど、日本勢に関する話題を多く取り上げていた。
On Sunday, December 21st, 2025, I got up around noon PST and stayed home all day.
I watched the women’s final of an international tournament series, the Grand Slam of Curling, on a sports channel I subscribe to. The event was held in Saskatoon, Canada, and a team from Japan, Team Fujisawa, and a team based in Switzerland, Team Tirinzoni, advanced to the final match.
The match ended with a victory for Team Tirinzoni. I had hoped that Team Fujisawa would secure the title, but they fell short.
That said, the Japanese curlers competing in the tournament made a strong impression. Of the four teams that qualified for the semifinals, three were Japanese: Team Yoshimura, Team Tabata, and Team Fujisawa. From what I heard in the commentary while watching the tournament, many topics were highlighted, such as Team Tabata’s high-quality performance and Team Fujisawa’s charming character.
