現地時間2024年12月20日（金）、午前10時ごろに起床した。ワーキングホリデービザの申請を開始した。現在のビザが来年の3月下旬に失効するため、カナダでの滞在を続けるには新しいビザが必要になる。
新しいビザの取得できた場合は、ほかの都市に移ることなく、バンクーバー都市圏内に住むつもりだ。弓道クラブに引き続き参加したい。
T&Tスーパーマーケットで買い物をした。バンクーバーに移住してから頻繁に利用しているお店だ。引っ越しに伴い炊飯器が使えるようになったため、カナダで初めて米を購入した。
米の正確な値段は忘れてしまったが、日本と同じくらいか、もしかすると安かったかもしれない。味も遜色ない。炒飯を作ったところ、日本で売っている米と似た味がした。
On Friday, December 20th, 2024, I got up around 10:00 a.m. PST. I began applying for a new visa – a working holiday visa – as my current visa will expire at the end of March next year, and I want to extend my stay in Canada.
If approved, I plan to continue living in Metro Vancouver so that I can stay involved with the Japanese archery club here.
I visited T&T Supermarket, which I’ve frequented since moving to Vancouver. Now that I have a rice cooker in my new home, I bought rice there for the first time in Canada.
Although I forgot the price of the rice, it might be similarly priced or possibly cheaper than in Japan. When I used it to make fried rice, it tasted similar to the rice sold in Japan.
