現地時間2025年1月7日（火）、13時半に起きた。15時ごろに外出し、近所を散歩した。
ある公園で栗らしき木を眺めた。フレーザー川沿いにあるウェストミンスター・ピア・パークも訪れた。
ウェストミンスター・ピア・パークからは数本の橋が見える。その中でも、スカイトレインが走る斜張橋「スカイブリッジ」が、私のお気に入りだ。ケーブル、橋桁、主塔、そして列車からなる、全体の形が美しい。
2本の橋の向こうには、雪を被った山々が見える。山の名前は定かではないが、コキットラムの向こうにあるようだ。いつか橋を訪れ、雪山を眺めてみたいと思う。
On Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, I got up around 1:30 p.m. PST and left home around 3:00 p.m. for a walk around the neighborhood.
After spotting what appeared to be a chestnut tree in a park, I visited Westminster Pier Park along the Fraser River.
I saw multiple bridges from the park. Of these, I prefer the SkyBridge, a cable-stayed bridge that carries the SkyTrain. Its simple design—consisting of cables, the deck, bridge towers, and the train itself—creates a beautiful structure.
Beyond these bridges, snow-covered mountains are visible. While I’m not sure of their names, they appear to be located beyond Coquitlam. I hope to visit the bridges someday and view the snow-capped mountains from there.
