2025年5月22日（木）、午前10時ごろに起きた。午後、家を出て弓道の練習へ向かった。
練習に使わせていただいた弓道場は、横浜市内の公園「本郷ふじやま公園」の一角に立っている。
私にとって、この弓道場を訪れるのは今日が初めてだ。建物は広くて、綺麗だった。射場のほかに、巻藁が3つ置いてある部屋、控室もある。私の気分やほかの人の様子に応じて、いる場所を選ぶことができ、居心地よく感じた。
残念ながら、公園全体を歩く時間はなかった。それでも、弓道場の近くから富士山を見たり、公園の端のあたりでイソヒヨドリを目撃したりした。練習後のささやかな癒しになった。
On Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, I got up around 10:00 a.m. and left home in the afternoon to practice Japanese archery.
The Kyudojo (Japanese archery hall) I practiced at today is located within Hongo Fujiyama Park in Yokohama City.
It was my first time visiting this Kyudojo, and I found the building spacious and beautiful. It has not only a large area for shooting arrows at targets but also a separate room with three makiwara stands, and another room for waiting and resting. I love environments like this because I can choose where to be based on how I feel and what others are doing.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to explore the entire park. However, seeing Mt. Fuji near the Kyudojo and spotting a Blue Rock Thrush near the edge of the park made me happy after practice.
