2025年5月21日（水）、午前10時ごろに起きた。午後、家を出て、相模湾沿いの街を歩いた。
散歩のスタート地点は辻堂駅。引地川沿いを歩き、海岸へ向かった。海岸ではハマヒルガオやハマボウフウといった花が、私を楽しませてくれた。遠くには江ノ島が見えた。
風が強く、江の島のあたりからは海沿いの道を離れた。鎌倉市内の内陸部を歩き、大船駅にたどり着いた。
歩いた道のりの一部は、「湘南モノレール」の区間と重なる。湘南モノレールは、江の島周辺と大船駅を結ぶ路線だ。車両が線路から吊り下がり、住宅の密集地を走り抜けていく。なかなか珍しい光景で、眺めるのが楽しかった。
On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, I got up around 10:00 a.m. and left home in the afternoon to walk through cities along Sagami Bay.
I got off the train at Tsujido Station and started walking toward the coast. Enoshima Island—one of the most famous travel destinations in Kanagawa Prefecture—and flowers like sea bindweed and beach silvertop caught my attention as I walked along the shore.
From the area around Enoshima, I stopped walking along the sea because it was so windy. I headed inland into Kamakura City and eventually arrived at Ofuna Station, located on the city’s edge.
Part of the route I walked overlapped with the Shonan Monorail, a public transportation line running between the Enoshima area and Ofuna Station. I looked up at the monorail cars hanging from the track and found the cityscape striking—an unusual train system suspended in the air, running through a densely populated residential area in Kamakura.
