2025年6月10日（火）、午前12時半に起きた。横浜にある馬場花木園を訪れた。ここを訪れるのは、先月に続いて2回目だ。
「花木園」という名前から分かるように、様々な木が植わっている。横浜市民にとってあまり有名な場所ではないだろうが、もっと人気になってもよいと思う。散歩するには、うってつけの場所だ。
今日はナツツバキの花を見ることができた。その白く爽やかな花は、湿っぽい気分を癒してくれる。
園内にある池のほとりで咲いているのは、ハナショウブ。その華やかな花が、馬場花木園の景色にアクセントを加えていた。
On Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, I got up at 12:30 p.m. and left home in the afternoon to visit a flower garden called Baba Kabokuen in Yokohama. It was my second visit since last month.
The park has quite a variety of trees. From what I know, the garden isn’t very well known among local residents, but it deserves more recognition because it’s a pleasant place to walk around and enjoy the scenery.
The tree that caught my eye today was a Japanese Stewartia, which had white blossoms. These beautiful flowers can lift the gloomy mood brought on by Japan’s rainy season.
Japanese irises were also in bloom, adding a nice accent to the landscape with the pond in the garden.
