現地時間2025年8月5日（火）、午前11時ごろに起きた。一日中、家にいた。
昨日、あるマンションの一室を内見させてもらった。3人用のシェアルームだ。そのうちの2人はそれぞれの寝室で、もう1人は「デン」という種類の部屋で寝る。
デンはとても狭い。私が見学したデンは、シングルベッド2台分よりも小さかった。窓はついていない。こうした悪条件ゆえに、家賃は安く、月額850カナダドルだ。立地も抜群なので、私は入居を申し込むことにした。
そこで、今日の昼前にメールで申し込みをした。だが、先方から返信が来ない。先月、別の物件で入居を断られたように、今回の物件も引っ越しは叶わないかもしれない。
On Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, I got up around 11:00 a.m. PDT and didn’t go outside.
Yesterday, I went to view a shared condo. The unit can accommodate three people: two have their own bedrooms, and the third sleeps in a windowless den.
The den is quite tiny—smaller than the size of two single beds—but I decided to apply for it. That’s because the rent is affordable, at CAD 850 per month, and the building is in a convenient location.
Even though I sent a message to a lady connected to the landlord to apply, she hasn’t responded so far. I’m starting to suspect that I might be rejected, just like I was last month.
