現地時間2025年7月21日（月）、午前10時に起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
練習から帰宅する際、反対方向の電車に誤って乗ってしまった。今日利用したローヒード・タウンセンター駅は、構造がやや複雑で、それが乗り間違いの原因の1つになった。
疲労による注意力不足もあっただろう。日中、ある求人に応募して、とても疲れた。バンクーバーに先月末に戻ってきて以来、仕事に応募したのは今日が初めてだ。
本来ならば、到着後すぐに仕事探しを始めたかった。だが、体調不良など、いくつかの事情で始動が遅れた。何より、就職活動は自分が苦手な活動の1つだ。
On Monday, July 21st, 2025, I got up at 10:00 a.m. PDT and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
On my way home, I took the wrong train, which was heading in the opposite direction from where I live. While the train network in Vancouver is much simpler than the one in Tokyo, Lougheed Town Centre Station—the station I used today—has a slightly complicated layout, which led to my mistake.
The mix-up was also partly due to the fact that I was tired, perhaps because I applied for a job today. It was my first time applying for a job since returning to Vancouver at the end of June.
Although I had hoped to start job hunting as soon as I arrived, I didn’t do so due to several issues, such as illness and tasks related to this blog. Above all, job hunting is simply one of my least favorite activities.
