現地時間2025年9月16日（火）、13時ごろに起きた。午後、近所を散歩した。
夕方、アイスリンクを訪れた。施設の名称は「ローズマリー・ブラウン・レクリエーションセンター」。先週の火曜日も、私はここでスケートをした。
友人夫婦と彼らの赤ちゃんも、このリンクに来ていた。奥さんの方はアイススケートが得意で、私にいくつかコツを教えてくれた。そのおかげで私はちょっとうまくなった。
手助けしてくれたのは友人だけではない。ちょっとした技を私が練習していた際、施設のスタッフが声をかけてくれて、アドバイスをくれた。自分にとっては予想外の出来事で、とてもうれしかった。
On Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, I got up at 1:00 p.m. PDT and walked around my neighborhood in the afternoon.
In the evening, I visited the Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre in Burnaby, just like last Tuesday. The difference between last time and today was that I interacted with other people this time.
I met up with my friends there, a couple with their baby. She is good at ice skating and gave me some tips, which actually helped me feel more comfortable gliding.
She wasn’t the only person who gave me advice. When I was practicing a basic movement—opening my legs and then closing them—a staff member at the facility came over and offered some advice. Since I hadn’t expected anyone to look after me, I was really happy about it.
