現地時間2025年10月5日（日）、14時半に起きた。夕方にトラウト湖のまわりを散歩した。
休日の夕暮れ時、トラウト湖は穏やかな雰囲気に包まれていた。
私の目に留まったのは、水辺のそばに立っている木々。ばりばりに剥がれた樹皮が特徴的だった。名前は定かではないが、リバーバーチではないだろうかと思う。
空は澄み、月がくっきりと見えた。駅のホームで私が月を撮っていると、駅のスタッフが「月を見た？」と話しかけてきた。今日の月の美しさに気付いていたのは、私だけではなかったようだ。
On Sunday, October 5th, 2025, I got up at 2:30 p.m. PDT and went out in the evening to walk around Trout Lake.
A park with the pond, where people were hanging out before sunset on the weekend, was so peaceful.
What caught my eye were the trees standing near the pond, with their peeling bark making them stand out. They might have been river birches.
The weather was nice, and the beautiful moon was clearly visible. When I was taking pictures at a station, a staff member there said to me, “Have you seen the moon?” I replied, “Yes!” She was as impressed by the moon as I was.
