現地時間2025年10月11日（土）、午前3時半ごろに起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
朝、メトロタウン駅の周辺を歩いた。ショッピングモールで買い物をしたり、セントラルパークを散歩したり。セントラルパークではランニングイベントがあったようで、ランナーたちに遭遇した。
散歩全体を通して、いつもより多くの鳥を見かけた。目撃した鳥は恐らく、コマツグミとハチドリだっただろう。
コマツグミはせっせと、赤い実をついばんでいた。
On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, I got up at 3:30 a.m. PDT and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
This morning, I went to the area around Metrotown Station to do some shopping at a huge mall and take a walk in Central Park. A running event was being held in the park, and I came across several runners on the trail.
They weren’t the only ones I noticed today. For some reason, I saw more birds than usual in residential areas. The species I saw were likely American robins and a hummingbird.
I actually saw an American robin perched on a shrub with many red berries in a park. The bird seemed to be absorbed in picking the berries.
