現地時間2025年10月13日（月）、午前6時半に起きた。今日はメジャーリーグのプレーオフの試合が、2つあった。1つはトロント・ブルージェイズ対シアトル・マリナーズ、もう1つはロサンゼルス・ドジャース対ミルウォーキー・ブルワーズの試合だ。
昨日の投稿で書いたように、私はスポーツチャンネルの配信サービスに加入した。そのおかげで2試合とも家で観戦できた。
ただし、生中継を最後まで通して観ることはできなかった。夕方に弓道の練習があったからだ。そこで私は、外出していた時間帯の試合映像を、見逃し配信で確認した。見逃し配信が楽しめるのは、配信サービスに入っているからこそだ。ありがたい。
話は変わって、弓道の練習のちょっとした出来事について。練習の合間に、あるメンバーが月餅を食べさせてくれた。月餅はこの季節に食べる、中国の伝統的なお菓子だそうだ。
On Monday, October 13th, 2025, I got up at 6:30 a.m. PDT. There were two Major League Baseball playoff games that day. One was between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners, and the other was between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
As I mentioned in a post yesterday, I subscribed to a sports network’s streaming service so that I could watch baseball games. As a result, I had access to both games today, but I didn’t watch them live in full because I had Japanese archery practice in the evening.
After practice, I watched the parts I had missed. Having games available on demand is one of the advantages of a streaming service.
By the way, between shooting sessions, I was fortunate to have some leftovers that my friends had brought. One member shared mooncakes, a traditional Chinese pastry eaten during this season.
