現地時間2025年10月25日（土）、13時に起きた。夜、ワールドシリーズ第2戦を見逃し配信で観た。
午後は弓道の時間。ハロウィンシーズンということで、弓道クラブのメンバーたちは仮装をして弓をひいた。
友人たちが身に着けていたのは、日本アニメやアメリカ映画のキャラクターなどの衣装。そんななか私は、違う毛色の格好を選んだ。シアトル・シーホークスの帽子、同チームのパーカー、それにヘッドセットを組み合わせて、チームのヘッドコーチの仮装をした。この格好が仮装として認識してもらえるのか、私は少し不安だったが、多くの人が好意的に反応してくれた。
ハロウィンシーズンの週末を楽しんでいるのは、弓道クラブだけではない。私は駅やショッピングモールで、仮装している人を目撃した。
On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, I got up around 1:00 p.m. PDT and watched a replay of Game 2 of the World Series, the championship series of Major League Baseball, tonight.
In the afternoon, I took part in a club event of the local Japanese archery club. Since it’s the Halloween season, club members wore their own costumes during today’s session to celebrate the fall tradition. It was fun to see my friends dressed as characters from Japanese anime and American movies.
What I prepared for today were a Seattle Seahawks hat, a hoodie of the same American football team, and a headset. Putting these items together, I dressed up as the head coach of the franchise. Although I was worried that my theme might not be recognized as a Halloween costume, many people reacted positively to it today, so I was relieved.
Aside from our Japanese archery club, many local people were also enjoying the weekend during this Halloween season. I saw some of them wearing costumes at a station and in a mall today.
