現地時間2025年11月3日（月）、午前12時半に起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
近所では最近、道路の補修工事が進んでいる。工事の音が私の寝室まで届いてきて、目が覚めた。
道路の補修がもっと進むことを願っている。バンクーバーの道は凸凹している箇所があまりにも多い。バスが揺れるせいで、私は酔うことがある。
バンクーバーの道について言うと、「暗い」という特徴もある。街灯が少ない影響なのか、特に住宅街の道が暗い。私が夜道を歩いている際に、住宅のイルミネーションを見るとほっとする。
On Monday, November 3rd, 2025, I got up around 12:30 p.m. PST and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
Road repair has been underway recently in my neighborhood. The construction noise was so loud that it woke me up today.
It’s no surprise that the roads need to be repaired, since streets in Vancouver tend to be bumpy. I wish they were smoother, as I sometimes get carsick when riding on an unsteady bus.
Speaking of streets in Vancouver, especially in residential areas, they feel relatively darker than those in Tokyo. It might be because there are fewer streetlights. Not every house has decorative lights, but when I see the ones that do, I feel relieved, as they make the streets brighter.
