現地時間2025年11月9日（日）、午前9時半ごろに起きた。明日から旅行に出る。その準備をするため、今日の午後に外出した。
バンクーバーの街なかで、アイスホッケーファンらしき人を数人見かけた。地元のカナックスのユニフォームを身に着けている人だけでなく、コロラド・アバランチの服を着ている人にも遭遇した。
今夜、両チームによる対戦があった。試合予定を調べなくとも、街なかのファンの姿から察することができる。
私は家で試合を観た。疲れていたので最後まで観ることはできなかったものの、十分楽しむことができた。カナックスのヒューズ選手やアバランチのマッキノン選手といった、スター選手の活躍が印象的だった。最近、私自身が趣味でアイススケートを始めたことで、アイスホッケーをさらに楽しめるようになった気がする。
On Sunday, November 9th, 2025, I got up around 9:30 a.m. PST and went out in the afternoon to prepare for my trip to Japan starting tomorrow.
When I walked around stations in Vancouver, I saw some people wearing Vancouver Canucks jerseys. Another person I spotted was even wearing a Colorado Avalanche jersey.
Their appearances were enough to suggest that a game between the Vancouver franchise and the Colorado team was going to take place in the city today.
At home, I watched part of the game online, but I couldn’t finish it because I was too tired. That said, I was impressed by both teams’ performances, especially by two stars: Quinn Hughes of the Canucks and Nathan MacKinnon of the Avalanche. Since I’ve recently started going ice skating for fun, I’ve come to enjoy ice hockey even more.
